For AI agents

Let your agent move stablecoins without gas

An agent with a wallet often holds USDC but no ETH, SOL or TRX for the network fee. With gasrescue it signs, and we send the transaction and pay the gas. It can also swap a few dollars into the gas coin and pay its own gas from then on.

What an agent can do

MCP server

Open source on GitHub, published on npm and listed in the official MCP Registry as io.github.gasrescue/gasrescue.

Add this to Claude Desktop, Cursor or any client that speaks the Model Context Protocol:

}
ToolWhat it does
gasrescue_infoChains, tokens, swap options, fees and limits
check_walletStablecoins, gas and issuer freezes of an address, read-only
quote_sendQuote a send without gas, with a summary for the user
quote_swapQuote a swap into the gas coin or another stablecoin
get_signing_requestWhat the wallet has to sign
submit_signaturesSubmit the signatures; we send and pay the gas
get_transferStatus and explorer link
sign_and_submitOnly with a configured EVM key: checks the quote, signs and submits

Without a key the MCP server signs nothing. The agent hands the signing request to the user's wallet or to its own wallet tool, then submits the signatures.

Letting the agent sign

On EVM chains the MCP server can sign with its own wallet. Set GASRESCUE_EVM_PRIVATE_KEY in its environment, and preferably GASRESCUE_ALLOWED_RECIPIENTS, a comma-separated list of the only addresses it may send to. Swaps always pay out to the same wallet.

Before it signs, the server checks every signed field against the quote: the wallet, the chain, the gasrescue contract, the amount, the fee and the recipient. It signs only for the published gasrescue contracts. The key stays on the machine that runs the server; only signatures are sent. Use a wallet that holds only what the agent should be able to move.

HTTP API

Without MCP, call the API directly. It is described in /openapi.json.

  1. POST /api/quote or POST /api/swap-quote returns the fees, what arrives and a transfer id.
  2. GET /api/transfers/{id}/sign returns what to sign. EVM: EIP-712 typed data per step, plus the order its nonce is the hash of, so recipient and fee can be checked. Tron: two transactions. Solana: one transaction.
  3. POST /api/transfers/{id}/submit with the signatures. We send the transaction, pay the gas and answer with the result.

No API key is needed. Up to 20 requests per minute per IP address.

Fees and limits

Service fee 0.5%, at least $0.25, at most $2.00 per send and $5.00 per swap, plus the network fee. Both come out of the amount, and every quote shows the exact figures. $2 to $1,000 per transfer, at least $10 on Tron, 10 transfers per wallet in 24 hours.

For language models

A short description for language models is at /llms.txt.

Before you start

Blockchain transfers are final. gasrescue is in early access, so test with a small amount first, and have a person approve each quote unless the recipients are fixed.
